It takes a strong woman to watch her man share a mutually gushy relationship with his ex – and not want to strangle them both! And Iulia Vantur is apparently that strong woman. She kept calm and smiled on all through the filming of Salman’s Tiger Zinda Hai, as he and leading lady Katrina renewed friendly ties as they shot together. And friendly ties is putting it mildly – there were strong suggestions that Kat and he could be rekindling their relationship itself; such was their closeness.

However, nothing of the sort happened. Iulia very much remained a fixture in her beau’s life and what’s more, she has maintained cordial relations with Katrina as well. You have got to hand it to Ms. Vantur for playing it well! The two ladies put all rumours of conflict to rest when they were spotted chatting and laughing at Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma’s party and then again at Salman’s birthday at Panvel.

Asked about her equation with Katrina, Iulia maintained, “We (Katrina and I) spoke so many times. I think she has done a fabulous job in Tiger Zinda Hai, the stunts and everything. She’s done an amazing work. We have nothing to (fight about)... She’s a lovely girl.”

Vantur added, “Why will I feel unhappy or insecure? In fact, Tiger Zinda Hai is an amazing movie — Katrina’s performance is outstanding!” she says. “The media will write anything, I cannot do anything about it. I have nothing to react to it.”

Well-played, lady! No irking the boyfriend, no possessive tantrums and on top of that, praising his family – Iulia has it covered. “I am indeed blessed to have been friends with Salman’s family. I share a beautiful and wonderful relationship with his entire family. They are a loving, sharing and caring family,” is what she prefers to focus on. And yes, she reserves the highest praise for Salman’s mother, Salma Khan, saying, “She is a beautiful person, who even at this point of her life, works non-stop for the wellbeing of her family and close ones — it is astounding to see her go out of the way to make me feel special and comfortable.” What man can resist that?!
