With the entire release dates fiasco stemming from Padmaavat, many films this year saw a ripple effect in their release dates as well.
Aiyaary shifter to February 9 along with Akshay Kumar's PadMan and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Pari shifted to March 2, Veere Di Wedding to June 1.
And another such film to face the ripple effect is John Abraham and Diana Penty's Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran.

This has been the third time the film has shifted its release date. Originally slated to release on December 8, the film was shifted to February 23rd to avoid a clash with Padmaavat, then Padmavati.
Looks like the film now again seems to have shifted its date to avoid a three-way clash with Rani Mukerji's Hichki and Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha's 'Boom Boom in New York'.
However, the film will see going up against Pari which incidentally is also produced by KriArj Entertainment!
The makers of Parmanu who have been shifting their dates for far too long although not very pleased with the situation aren't left with much choice. A source close to the film said, "A three-way clash will hamper the movie’s business and nobody wants to lose money. Plus, KriArj has just announced that ‘Pari’ is coming on March 2, so it doesn’t make sense for them to have two films releasing back-to-back. Ideally, the makers want a fortnight’s gap in between their movies."
Another source added, "Reportedly, John wasn’t too happy to leave the December 8 spot as well. So, it will take a bit of convincing but he should understand the scenario and think about what serves his film best.”
Earlier John Abraham stated, "There are so many films which have an entertainment purpose only and there are very few films which are important for our country. According to me, ‘Parmanu’ is one such film which is very important in modern India so it was important that we needed a proper release date for this film."
Well, looks like patience might lead to virtue for John and his team.
