Unlike misconceptions before, the film has undergone 5 modifications and not deletions and a title change, i.e from Padmavati to Padmaavat.

The song Ghoomar has also been replaced with appropriate visuals so as to not offend any community or person, living or dead. Words such as 'Singhaldweep' and 'Dilli' too have been replaced with more appropriate words.

Earlier in the day, the dialogue promos of the film were released which highlighted Queen Padmavati's deathly resolve as she addresses the women of her court while the other shows Shahid in all his Rajputi honour and valour.

It won’t be long before we finally get to lay our eyes on this controversial drama that has the entire nation in a cross.
