Rani Mukerji's makes her comeback with Hichki next month. Her promotional rounds have started and the actress was soon to appear on Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty's Hichki when she had to cancel the shoot after developing acute back pain. She reached the set but could not shoot further. Rani had injured her back a few days ago and has been in pain for the past three days.
An insider revealed, “Rani has been in excruciating pain for the past three days. She is a thorough professional and despite her back issue she landed up on the sets of India’s Next Superstar today."

“She was getting ready to shoot with her best friend Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty and that’s when she again felt a surge in pain. She couldn’t move. Her pain was excruciating again and unfortunately she had to rush back home to be attended by her doctor. We hope she gets well soon,” the insider added.
The talk now is that the creative team is figuring dates for rescheduling the shoot.
Rani's film Hichki centres around being an underdog and celebrates self-esteem, confidence and resilience of human spirit and hope. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, it is set to hit the screens on February 23.
