So here’s a pic of the Thugs of Hindostan leading ladies – and no, they are not tearing each other’s eyes out, haha!

A recent image from the sets shows Katrina, with a friendly arm draped around Fatima, and Aamir Khan during a rehearsal of the title track of the film. This is some indication of all being kind of well between the two, who were supposedly at loggerheads not long ago!
Last year, Aamir had set the cat among the pigeons when he had stated, “Even in Thugs of Hindostan, the central role is the girl who is being played by Fatima Sana Shaikh. The story of the film is about her.” The implication had been that Katrina would only be seen doing a few songs in the film. Naturally, those comments hadn’t gone down well with Kat at all, who suddenly felt insecure in the face of Khan’s open support of Fatima.

In January this year, Katrina had addressed the allegations of her role being shorter than that of the one-film-old Fatima’s. She had said, “All this doesn’t matter. Let’s stop trying to find ways to create some sort of drama when there’s none. Everyone in the film is more than happy to be part of a project like this — whether it’s Aamir, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima or me. All of us are excited and working together. It’s Aamir and Victor’s film and whatever information they want to reveal, at whatever time they feel is correct, I leave it to them. It’s entirely their call and that’s how the production house works. It’s too monotonous for me to try and add to the drama.”

Obviously, Katrina did not want to add to the speculation regarding her equation with Fatima. After all, not long ago, it had made news that Fatima was reportedly irritated at being compared to her senior, Katrina! Her irritation, in turn, irked Katrina as well, who couldn’t understand what the fuss was about.

Going by the latest pics though, the two lasses have managed a truce after all!
