The makers of Thugs of Hindostan had initially gone to great lengths to maintain a tight secrecy around the film. They were reportedly very unhappy when Amitabh Bachchan’s look had been leaked on the sets. Now, a new set of leaked pictures have emerged from the sets, which show Katrina clad in a gold costume, for a dance sequence.

Snapped during the shooting of the title song of the film, Katrina looks a vision in a skimpy gold outfit, paired with gold head ornaments and thick anklets. The actress had recently shared a video of her practising her dance moves and we can rest assured she will nail this song as well.

Thugs of Hindostan is said to be based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel, Confessions of a Thug. It focuses on a gang of thugs, who had posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India (then known as Hindustan or Hindostan) during the early 19th century.
This Yash Raj Films production is being directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who had directed Katrina and Aamir in Dhoom:3. It will also bring Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan onscreen for the first time. A period film high on the thrill element, Thugs of Hindostan has been shot in Morocco, Thailand and India.

Last month Katrina had addressed the question of her reportedly having a shorter role than Fatima, saying, “All this doesn’t matter. Let’s stop trying to find ways to create some sort of drama when there’s none. Everyone in the film is more than happy to be part of a project like this — whether it’s Aamir, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima or me. All of us are excited and working together. It’s Aamir and Victor’s film and whatever information they want to reveal, at whatever time they feel is correct, I leave it to them. It’s entirely their call and that’s how the production house works. It’s too monotonous for me to try and add to the drama.”

Looking as smokin’ hot as she does in the pics, there is drama enough already!
