The critically acclaimed actor of City Lights, Shahid and Trapped, RajKummar Rao will be back on the big screen with yet another 'critically acclaimed' film titled 'Omerta'. This film is based on the true incidents of a British-born terrorist Ahmed Omar Saeed Shaikh and is a high-intensity drama. The is directed by Hansal Mehta. It has already been screened at multiple film festivals abroad. In India, it was screened at the Jio MAMI festival. And the response was only a loud applause.

The film dramatizes the life of Omar Ahmed, a terrorist who in spite of being behind bars did not stop his involvement in other terror attacks, including the 9/11. The title of the film is an Italian code of honour that encompasses absolutely no cooperations with any legal entity.

It is produced by Nahid Khan and is presented by Swiss Entertainment. The producers have finalized the date and it April 20th. The film already enjoys a 7.5 rating on the IMDB website.
