It seems like our B-town ladies are having a tough time finding a pair for themselves who are at least as tall as they are. While a leading tabloid pointed out the problem, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan came up with the perfect solution. It hilarious and weirdly so, even valid. And that's an answer we would be delighted to experience over and over again.

He shared the article cutout on his Instagram handle and went on to share his perfect solution with the world. He captioned the image with, "Job Application: Amitabh Bachchan. DOB: 11.10.1942 .. age 76 .. 49 yrs experience in films .. approx 200 films acted .. speaks Hindi.
HEIGHT 6’2’’ .. available .. You shall never have height problem !!"

Now, that is quite a solution and also quite funny!

Addressing the issue at the sets of Padmaavat with Deepika and Shahid, a leading daily reported, "It was an ongoing problem during the shooting. Shahid was playing the King and Deepika was playing the Queen. He couldn’t possibly look shorter than her on screen. It would have gone against royal protocol. Bhansali and the unit had to constantly fudge Shahid’s height to make him look as tall."

Thugs of Hindostan which is currently being shot also shared the same problem. Another daily reported, "Katrina is way too tall for Aamir’s height. There is a constant stress on the sets to ensure they look equally matched on screen." It has also been said that Tabu who is a tall actress would often have to slouch in the presence of her male (and short) co-stars in order to make it look normal.

Seems like we're only having this trend broken when Amitabh Bachchan steps in.
