If this is true, it is as sad as it is strange. You know that the Bollywood debut of Sara Ali Khan, the gorgeous 24-year-old daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is now uncertain. Her entry film Kedarnath, slated to release this December, is in an unfinished mess because producer Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment is locked in a bitter battle with co-producer and director Abhishek Kapoor of Guy in The Sky production house.
What exactly the disagreement between these two is people have lost track of because everybody’s sympathy is now with poor Sara who appears to have chosen the wrong film to enter Bollywood with. Or rather, Amrita chose the wrong film for her daughter, because the buzz was that Karan Johar wanted Sara to debut in a Dharma Productions film. And Amrita decided instead to go with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Films which is another co-producer of the jinxed Kedarnath.

Now the story being told is that Amrita, perhaps torn by remorse over the wrong choice she made for Sara, is seeking spiritual guidance on how best she ought to go about handling her daughter’s jeopardised Bollywood debut. PeepingMoon.com has learned that the feisty yesteryear actress has reportedly sought the advice of a celebrated astrologer from Oshiwara in this regard. He is the same medium that Ekta Kapoor herself and even Kangana Ranaut are said to put their faith in. And the astrologer, who in Bollywood circles is known as Panditji, did not disappoint Amrita. He reportedly told her right away that Kedarnath was not a good film to launch Sara’s career. There was a lot of negativity associated with the title because of the unfortunate and catastrophic incidents associated in the past with this holy place. And that bad aura was bound to affect young Sara. Panditji also predicted more trouble ahead for Kedarnath which he said would continue right until the film’s release.
Sadly, while there is a concerted effort by a PR agency to make it seem like Sara is being sought after by Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty for their action film Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh, PeepingMoon.com sources reveal that neither of the two filmmakers have given any indication that this is happening. In fact, the grapevine has it that Amrita’s desperate calls to Bollywood producers with big ticket films in hand to consider casting Sara are going unheeded.
So what does the concerned and upset mother do? The Panditji is supposed to have suggested a havan whose sacred fire would purify the bad air around Sara and transform her life. But for which, the presence and participation in the holy rituals of both the girl’s parents is absolutely necessary. Our sources say that Amrita is reportedly not averse to the advice. But Saif is said to be not in favour of it. It is now left to mother and daughter to try and convince the reluctant father to put his disbeliefs aside and do what the Panditji has advised. Will this resurrect Sara’s career? We hope so because if there is one promising Bollywood debutante everybody is waiting to see, it is Sara Ali Khan.
