With just a week more to go, Anushka Sharma dropped yet again another screamer from her upcoming horror 'Pari'. The film has already piqued audience's interest as, despite the haunting images, the film isn't branded as a ghost movie.

Anushka shared this screamer right after sharing another poster of the film earlier in the day. She wrote, "The devil arrives this Holi. #HoliWithPari @paramspeak @OfficialCSFilms @kriarj @poojafilms" And we sure don't doubt her.

In the new screamer, Anushka is seen walking towards a lake on a chilly night. When she looks at her reflection in the lake through the pale moonlight, her bloody alternate self, stares back at her. What is even more puzzling are the fishes that die in the lake and start floating to the surface of the lake.

British Prosthetic designer Clover Wootton who worked the magic behind Anushka's look earlier in an interview said, "There are many shades to Anushka’s character in Pari. But, most importantly, we wanted people to forget Anushka the person, and think about Rukhsana (her character) alone. Anushka being a strikingly pretty face, we didn’t do too much with her. We just made her eyebrows bushier, added lenses and darkened the under eyes so that she looked more tired. We blurred the edge of her lips so that it looks drier and that is literally all that we did. Depending on the scene requirements we made her cheeks a little more pink but that’s about it…nothing more was done and yet, she looked so different!"

The crew has been tight-lipped and have maintained the suspense around the film from the start. Among the most mysterious character Anushka has ever played, this is not her first venture into the indie films as she earlier played strong female characters in films such as NH10 and Phillauri.
