Sridevi breathed her last in Dubai today amidst all the wedding festivities of nephew Mohit Marwah. Needless to say, Bollywood stars and its followers are shaken by the news. Condolences are pouring in for the much loved actress from near and dear ones on social media.

Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, AR Rahman, Mallika Sherawat, Ram Gopal Varma, Nagma, Preity Zinta are only a few of the many celebs who are expressing their sorrow on Twitter today. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan shared a cryptic and touching message saying, "T 2625 - न जाने क्यूँ , एक अजीब सी घबराहट हो रही है  !!" (I don't know why I am feeling anxious today."

Sridevi was with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi at the time of her death. The lovely actress was only recently clicked at the Mumbai airport by the paps, before taking off to Dubai. She was also seen dancing away and having a good time with friends, at the Dubai wedding.

Coincidentally, Boney Kapoor's ex-wife Mona Kapoor also passed away at a young age of 48 on March 25, 2012.

Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is working on her Bollywood debut film Dhadak. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and features Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter and Jhanvi in lead roles.

Sridevi had spoken about Jhanvi saying, "She has chosen this path and profession, and I have been in this industry for long. So I am mentally more prepared than her. She has been watching me, and knows what she is getting into. Nothing is going to be a cakewalk in any profession. So you have to work hard, and there will be challenges. I’m sure she is ready for it.”
