Sridevi passed away in Dubai today after succumbing to a massive cardiac arrest. The actress was with her daughter Khushi Kapoor and husband Boney Kapoor at the time of her death. The family was celebrating the wedding of Mohit Marwah.

Sridevi had recently shared pictures on her social media handle. Her last picture has her posing with Boney, Khushi and close friends and family. She also shared pictures of herself and Khushi, decked up in traditional outfits. Sridevi also posted pictures of her family posing with the new bride and groom.

Sridevi's elder daughter Jhanvi is currently busy shooting for her debut Bollywood movie Dhadak. The movie is scheduled to release in July.

Sridevi was last seen on the big screen, in the movie MOM. The movie was produced by her husband Boney Kapoor and featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui opposite her. On the professional front, Sridevi made a comeback to cinema with her Gauri Shinde movie English Vinglish.  The movie was shortlisted as India's official entry for the Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category. The film earned global acclaim at several international festivals and Sridevi was hailed as the Meryl Streep of India.
