Jacqueline is still hunting for her sprawling dream home

If you spot Jacqueline Fernandez rushing around town with a hungry look in her eyes, fear not – she is simply on a mission to find her dream home.

It has been months now that the actress expressed her desire to find herself her spiffy new home. She had even told friends that she wanted to be happily ensconced in her new home by the New Year. However, that wasn’t to be. We’ve hit March and Jackie is still to find the house that knocks her socks off. Not an easy task to please is our Sri Lankan stunner!

Incidentally, last year she had the very gifted Ashiesh Shah, who also happens to be her bestie, give her current sea-facing Bandra home a thorough makeover. Her residence had been done up in shades of white with pastel blue and pink accents. Little plants were brought in and vintage elements were added to mesh her ‘elegant, feminine personality with an overall calming energy’.

The living room was made to look straight out of a Parisian abode, complete with cozy corners such as a daybed. The apartment was renovated to showcase Jackie’s love for flowers, music, books, sunlight and the pastel palette. As Shah had explained, “Jacqueline is zestful, well-travelled, into fitness and loves music which explains her private pole-dance studio in the house, her vintage music player and the piano in her living room, the knickknacks and books she's collected from over the years.”

Dotted with plants in every room, the apartment also hints at Jacqueline’s love for music. From a guitar to books on music, to even an upright, white piano which the actress loves to play, her charming home has it all.

But apparently, that isn’t enough! Jacqueline has always maintained that this house has been more of a ‘starter home’ for her. While she loves its coziness, she is now yearning for a more spacious residence that perhaps is more befitting of her enhanced status as a successful Bollywood heroine.
