The sensational Kangana Ranaut gave us something to chew over during the behind the scenes video of her shoot for a women’s magazine. Asked to share the most obnoxious nickname someone has ever given her, she harked back to the time she had been publicly accused by her ex, Adhyayan Suman, of using black magic on him.

Obviously, years later this still rankles Kangana as she brought up the issue, when discussing her most obnoxious nickname...“The Black Magic witch, the ultimate witch. I like it though but, I didn't like the way it was said but I liked the mystery of it,” she quipped.

Back in 2009, Kangana and Adhyayan had been in a brief relationship when they came together onscreen for Raaz 2. However, the relationship did not last. What’s worse, Adhyayan had come out to make a series of shocking allegations about his ex-girlfriend. He had given interviews declaring that Kangana had performed black magic on him, which was the cause of his failed career in films.

“My mother was very worried and she called the family’s Panditji to come home and meet me,” he had told a leading newspaper. “The first thing he asked me was: 'Khana banati hai tumhare liye?' When I said yes, he said, 'Apna impure blood milati hai khaane mein black magic ke liye.'”

Kangana had refused to get riled by these allegations, instead claiming that witchcraft was an ancient art and that there was nothing wrong with it! “Don't we like Harry Potter? I would want my daughter to know about witchcraft,” she retorted instead.

Regarding the accusations she had simply said, “At this point, I can't pretend to be sorry about something that I am not.”

Quite a girl, isn’t she!

Incidentally, the upcoming film which will see her reunite with her Queen actor Rajkummar Rao, has got a title. She recently shared, “My next film is Mental Hai Kya, which is written by a woman screenplay writer, Kanika. The story is about a woman who could be a murderer or a mentally ill person. It talks about mental health, but also has a light-heartedness to it.”

Guess that will tempt certain ex-boyfriends to come up with more nasty nicknames! Either way, our lass couldn’t care less.
