On Tuesday, it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan has fallen ill due to his hectic work schedule which took a toll on the actor's health. After immediately informing wife, Jaya Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan, a group of doctors from Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital arrived at Jodhpur in a chartered plane to nurse the veteran actor.
Amitabh is in Jodhpur for the shoot of Thugs of Hindostan. However, soon after the news came out, the production head of TOH Rajvinder stated that Big B is doing well. According to reports, actor Aamir Khan was present with Amitabh the entire time in the room.

Post the health scare, Jaya spoke about the same and informed the media about Amitabh's health. "Amitji's health is fine. He has pain in his back and neck. The costume is pretty heavy ( for Vijay Krishna Acharya's film) and that's why he is in pain. Otherwise, he is fine," shared Jaya, outside the Parliment Hose, New Delhi.
On March 13, several news reports suggested that Big B might have injured himself on the sets. In fact, on his blog that the actor updated around 5 am on Tuesday morning, he wrote that his team of doctors will be arriving in Rajasthan to "fiddle around" with his "body". Big B, 75, assured his fans and followers that he will post medical updates on his blog.
"I am getting my team of Doctors in tomorrow morning to fiddle around with my body and set me up again .. i will rest and keep informed in process," Big B wrote on his blog early morning.
The cine icon had revealed last year that he had been nursing a “stiff neck and shoulder pain” as a result of past injuries from stunts he did in the 1970s and 1980s. He is currently filming Thugs of Hindostan which also stars Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Katrina Kaif.
