Superstar Aamir Khan, who just turned 53 expanded his digital imprints by making his debut on Instagram. Aamir already enjoys a huge social media following on Twitter and Facebook, and is excited about his new Instagram account.
A recent statement from Aamir's spokesperson read, "Aamir Khan currently has a social media reach of more than 37 million users, and through photo-sharing platform Instagram, Aamir will keep fans abreast about his life and projects."
Aamir has no posts yet, but tons of followers.
That speaks for his superstardom, doesn't it? On the work front, Aamir is busy with his film Thugs of Hindostan. The movie is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. It is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It is set to be released during Diwali on 7 November 2018.

The team has been shooting for the movie in Jodhpur. Recently, news of Big B's ill health started making the rounds after the veteran star hinted of some discomfort in his blog. Apparently, a team of doctors rushed to him and conducted some tests. Jaya Bachchan then revealed that the Bachchan senior is doing just fine and that he had back pain due to his heavy costumes in the movie. What more, Big B has already resumed the shoot for TOH.
Aamir was last seen in the movie Secret Superstar. The film is written and directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. The film starred Zaira Wasim, Meher Vij, Raj Arjun and Aamir Khan. It dealt with social issues including feminism, gender equality and domestic violence.
