Author Yasser Usman has released his book, which is said to be the biography of Sanjay Dutt. Captioned, "The Crazy Untold Story of Bollywood's Bad Boy - Sanjay Dutt", this biography touches upon some of the sensitive topics of Dutt's life including his alleged affair with Madhuri Dixit.

Dutt therefore did not take this lying down. The actor took to Facebook today to voice his thoughts on the matter.

He wrote, "I have not authorised either Juggernaut Publications or Yaseer Usman to write / publish my biography. Our lawyers had sent them a legal notice, in response to which Juggernaut Publications said that contents of the proposed book are based on information available in public domain from authentic sources."

He added, "However from the excerpts that are appearing in the newspaper are partly based on my old interviews but rest all seemed to be based on hearsay, 1990s tabloids and gossip magazines, most of which are figments of imagination and not true. I have consulted with my legal team on the next course of action. I hope better sense will prevail and there will be no further excerpts that will hurt me or my family. My official autobiography will be out soon which will be authentic and based on facts."

An excerpt of the book reads:

Despite Richa's optimism and fighting spirit, what happened next spoke louder than any sound bite. After spending just fifteen days in Mumbai, she abruptly went back to New York. According to the Sharma family, throughout her fight with cancer, Richa was motivated by the thought of finally getting to live a normal, happy life with Sanjay and their daughter. But now that she was in remission, her dream seemed futile and unattainable. Richa was shattered. 'I love him with all my heart. Whatever happens, I will always stand by him. He treated me very shabbily when I came down to meet him,' Richa told an interviewer.

Did Sanjay's marital status weigh on Madhuri's mind? She belonged to a conservative family and had a clean image in the media. As the Star & Style story had hinted, there would surely be PR repercussions to marrying the husband of a woman who suffered through cancer only for him to leave her. But Reema Rakesh Nath, scriptwriter-director and wife of Madhuri's secretary Rikku Rakesh Nath, said, 'I don't think Madhuri's personal choice for Sanjay should come in the way of  her career. Look at Hema and Dharamji. Hema has retained her dignity, despite her marriage to a much-married man.'
