If you have been feeling low because of the ‘Hichkis’ in your life, here’s some motivation! This time around Rani Mukerji has brought on board the hunk, Varun Dhawan, who has been a superstar since day one. Surprisingly enough, the actor’s Hichki was stage-fright.
In a candid conversation with the Hichki star, Varun said, “This actually happened at the beginning of my career. I became an actor. I faced the camera and all that was fine. When you become an actor you go to awards shows, you give performances. So, the first time I was on stage, I don't know what happened. I just froze. I started talking too fast. You come on stage and you see people like Sridevi ji, Madhuri Dixit, Rekha ji, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan... You don't attend too many award shows. So, I don't think I saw you there and I got so nervous. I think all these celebrities freaked me out… They really freaked me out”

We can understand the dilemma. But that did not stop him from staying away from the stage. We all know, he’s made for the stage and the limelight! Talking about overcoming the obstacle he said, “One of my idols I have always spoken about is The Rock – who is amazing on the stage and Elvis Presley. I watched Elvis Presley and the way he held the audiences in his palm. When I went out there next time, and I saw a lot of celebrities in front of me, I saw myself as Elvis Presley. 'Okay, I'm here. I'm going to own this and this is my life and this is my identity.' And I messed that up too…,” Surprise surprise! “No, No! I got better.”
We’re going to be sure to watch this video and gather some strength the next time we come across the such a situation! Rani’s Hichki will be out on the big screens on March 23.
