‘Dhoom dhadaka’: It has got Arjun and Parineeti all excited in Punjab

Vipul Shah’s romcom Namastey England is set for some serious foot-tapping. In the coming days, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra will be shuttling around Punjab, filming a rocking wedding number.

The song, titled ‘Dhoom dhadaka…’  will be a lavishly mounted wedding song which will be shot over five days at five different locations in Amritsar. The song’s situation sees the characters played by Arjun and Parineeti meeting for the first time and the sparks will fly!
To be choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, ‘Dhoom dhadaka…’ will be buzzing with energy. The aim is to stand out in a market that has no shortage of peppy wedding numbers and chartbuster-master Acharya is evidently just the man to do it.

Arjun can’t wait to get started, as he said, “I’m excited to team up with Ganesh masterji. He has a lot of fresh ideas. I’m happy that I now have a Ganesh Acharya song under my belt. It’s a fun, energetic song which I’m sure audiences will love.”

The peppy Parineeti is sure to ace this one as well. She and Arjun are collaborating for the third time after Ishaqzaade and the upcoming Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Recently she shared a picture with Arjun Kapoor and director Vipul Shah posing against the backdrop of Punjab’s iconic fields. She captioned the Instagram post, “Punjab ke khet, London ki galiyaan!!!!  Happy shooting NAMASTE ENGLAND with my boyss!! @arjunkapoor #VipulAmritlalShah#NamasteEngland"

Arjun Kapoor also posted a video on his Instagram and it was rather hilarious. For starters, he wrote, 'Video Credit - Parineeti Chopra my new digital manager' (clearly aping Shah Rukh who said the same for Katrina Kaif!)

The video showed Arjun riding a Bullet, which suggested the scene from the original Namastey London in which Akshay Kumar makes a dashing entry and meets Katrina Kaif.
