Some days back we read that veteran choreographer Saroj Khan is planning to take action along with Tezaab maker N. Chandra against the reworked version of their song Ek do teen.
The new version, which was described by Chandra as "crass", is a part of Baaghi 2 and has been filmed on Jacqueline Fernandez. The original hit featured Bollywood's dancing queen Madhuri Dixit, who was given signature steps by Saroj.
Asked about her views on the song, Saroj had said: "I am not commenting on it."

However, it seems that Saroj has had a change of heart since then. The dance maestro recently commented on the remix number saying, "I'm so happy and proud of Ahmed and Ganesh that they are giving a tribute to us. They have all my blessings."
Jacqueline Fernandez has received quite some flak for this remix. However, Salman Khan himself took to his social media account to voice his support for Jacqueline and the team. He wrote, “Loved the song, Jackie has done full justice to the legendary moves of Saroj khan, difficult to match Madhuri. Nice to see Varun and Jackie (dance) to our songs. Makes us proud and keeps the songs alive. Fans are listening, dancing and having a blast. Makes me proud . Enjoy Karo!”
Starring Tiger Shroff, the film is a sequel to the 2016 film Baaghi.
The film, which also stars Disha Patani, is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner name Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and presented by Fox Star Studios. It will release on March 30.
Disha had also spoken in favor of Jacqueline saying, "The song is doing so well. C’mon, how many million views are there on the song! Look at the positive side. It does not matter (negative reviews). Views count. Views matter. It has got so many views in one day. And that’s not bad. It wasn’t my decision to touch the cult song. But people are comparing and it’s not fair. You cannot compare to Madhuri Dixit ma’am. She is an icon and the song is an iconic number. This is just a tribute. It is nothing close to her. And its a modern remix for the new generation people who were not born in that era. So just enjoy the new song.”
