It has been three long years since we saw the amazing Drishyam starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu in its lead roles. Now, it seems there is another entertainer that could match up to its standards. Tabu, Manoj Bajpayee, and Annu Kapoor will be seen together in Mukul Abhyankar’s Missing.
The trailer begins when Mr. and Mrs. Dubey (Manoj and Tabu) reach Mauritius along with their three-year-old daughter Titli for a vacation. Just when the party is about to get going, Title goes missing. Why and how? Nobody knows. And then steps into the plot, Annu Kapoor. He is the lead investigator here, taking in charge Titli’s missing case.

The investigator is firm and determined to solve his case irrespective of what comes his way. He questions Dubey’s. His observation is what brings new twists and turns in the plot. He says Mrs. Dubey’s emotions are obvious. But something doesn’t click right with Mr. Dubey’s emotions. We see Manoj as Mr. Dubey fumbling and stammering as he gathers words to speak up. But eventually fails. He apparently has an extra ticket and goes out of the resort alone at 2 am. Why? Infidelity!
The investigator has questions and Mr. Dubey just can’t answer them. This brings hell for Mrs. Dubey, who not only has a missing daughter but also a disturbed husband. He says no marriage is perfect. But what would that have to do with their daughter being missing! For every question, the mother has more doubts and the father has no answers.
The film is said to be based on the lines that ‘nothing is what it seems’. And the trailer seems to deliver just that. Missing brings together three of the finest actors Bollywood has. With an edgy trailer like this, the movie sure seems like the one we wouldn’t want to miss out on. It is set to hit the big screens on April 6, 2018.
