“Tiger and I have a platonic relationship”: Is Disha serious??

They go off on exotic holidays together, eat together, supposedly even live in together… But actress Disha Patani will not acknowledge Tiger as her beau. In fact, she’s going so far as to say that she and her hunky Baaghi 2 co-star share a platonic relationship!

Reacting to rumours of a relationship with Tiger Shroff, she said, “Tiger and I have a platonic relationship. It is social media that creates news about us. Whenever we visit a restaurant or watch a film together, they put up such news.”

She also revealed, “I have no friends in Bollywood, except the Shroffs. The entire family is very helpful, Tiger is no exception. I am happy to have them as my friends.” Having made her debut with Telugu film Loafer opposite Varun Tej and with a small but sweet role in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Disha is now looking at the big time with her forthcoming film, Baaghi 2.

Speaking about her entry into films, Disha shared, “I always had this desire to become a pilot but once when I was visiting Mumbai to participate in a contest, an agency saw me and started sending me audition calls. Soon after, I started modelling and doing commercials. And one fine day, I was offered a role in M.S.Dhoni. Even the critics appreciated my performance in the film. I am happy I have made it this far without any godfather.”

Disha also touched upon her decision to come to Mumbai and live all by herself. “I left home with just Rs. 500! It was only after reaching here that I made some money on my own. I did not wish to borrow money from my parents because I chose to live here and make my own living,” she reveals.

Now all she wants is to prove herself. “Even if I were to hear criticism about my performances, I would try to evolve and work on my weaknesses. Uncalled for criticism hurts. But I am a positive person and will learn,” she adds.

Now that sounds just like something her ‘platonic friend’ Tiger Shroff would say!
