Good news for all Virat Kohli fans. The very successful Virat, who is regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world as is ranked as one of the world's most famous athletes by ESPN, will soon make his appearance at Madam Tussauds, Delhi. The wax figure of the Indian cricket captain will be soon unveiled and will take its place among cricketers Kapil Dev and Sachin Tendulkar, and footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, in the popular sports zone of the museum.
The dashing cricketer is quite chuffed by the honour. Speaking about his inclusion, he said, “It’s a great honour to be chosen as one of the figures at Madame Tussauds. All thanks to the Madame Tussauds team who were extremely patient during the sitting sessions and for giving me a lifetime memory.”

The creation of Virat’s waxwork has been a laborious process. The Madame Tussauds team of expert artists had flown in from London to meet the famous cricketing for the sitting. They reportedly took over 200 specific measurements and images to create the authentic figure of the much-admired cricketer.
Speaking about Kohli’s inclusion at Madam Tussauds Delhi, Merlin Entertainments India Pvt. Ltd. General Manager Anshul Jain shared, “We are thrilled to announce the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli’s figure as the 23rd attraction. He holds the heart and respect of every Indian and a perfect choice to have him as our next Figure. We are confident that Virat’s wax figure will be a major draw for his fans not only from India but from around the world as he is one of the great cricketers that the world has seen.”
