And with these two adorable nicknames, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh have pretty much relieved our tedious Tuesday.

Ranveer is currently laid up with a shoulder injury. Juggling between Gully Boy and 83, the full of beans actor injured his shoulder amidst his busy schedules. He took to social media to interact with his friends and fans, writing, “Thank you for the good wishes everyone. I’m good. It’s just a labral tear in my left shoulder. I intend to come back stronger Love you all.”

Amidst the flood of get well soon messages that came his way, was one from his Gully Boy heroine, Alia Bhatt. Calling him Tutu, she wished him a speedy recovery. He was quick to respond, thanking ‘Lulu’ for her wishes.

Naturally, this has got fans wondering if Lulu and Tutu are the names of their characters in the Zoya Akhtar directorial. After a string of hilarious advertisements, the pair comes together for the first time for a feature film. Earlier, Ranveer had shared, “Gully Boy is perhaps the most dearest film. It is one of the most closest to me after Band Baaja Baaraat because Band Baaja Baaraat was my first film. This is a story that means a lot to me. To tell a story of the youth from the streets of Mumbai, who live a very tough existence and have a lot of battle to fight and they in the battle of life they come out and triumph,” he had declared.

In February, ‘Tutu’ and ‘Lulu’ had also shared pics as they worked out together in the gym, striking classic poses. Incidentally, Alia herself had suffered an injury to her right shoulder while shooting an action sequence for Brahmastra in Bulgaria. However, both Ranveer and Alia are able to continue shooting for Gully Boy, which does not require any strenuous sequences.

Also wishing Ranveer a speedy recovery was actor Madhavan, who had suffered an injury to his shoulder area while doing shoulder pull-ups. He had to undergo shoulder surgery and has been advised two months’ complete rest and at least five months of no action scenes.
