Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: I've been approached for the remake of Raat Aur Din and Woh Kaun Thi

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan just hinted that she may be doing two interesting remakes!

That's right, the gorgeous actress mentioned in a recent interview that she may be featuring in the remakes of Raat Aur Din and Who Kaun Thi?

Raat Aur Din was a movie in which the great legendary actress Nargis played the role of a woman with split personality. She also had won the National Award for Best Actress for the same. The film was directed by Satyen Bose.

For some time now, reports have been rife about remaking Raat Aur Din. It is said to be directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Prernaa Arora. There were speculations as to who will be playing the role of Nargis Dutt in the remake. Well, Aishwarya herself almost confirmed the news when she said, "I've been approached for the remake of Raat Aur Din, which is a great opportunity and what's funny is while filming Shabd, Sanju Sir (Sanjay Dutt) said he'd have loved for me to play the part, and I was very touched. We're still working out the details. I've also been approached for a remake of Woh Kaun Thi? ".

Also talking about surviving in Bollywood and stardom, Aishwarya said, "From the day I chose to step into showbiz, I've survived by holding on to who I am. My own best friend and brutal critic."

Aishwarya is currently shooting for the movie Fanne Khan with co-stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The film will release in July this year. It is a musical drama and Aishwarya plays the role of a musical diva.

If the actress does get an opportunity to recreate Nargis, we are sure her fans will get to see a never-seen-before side of the gorgeous actress. Looks like we can look forward to some great movies in the coming days.
