The much awaited teaser of John Abraham's very ambitious movie, Parmanu, is out and it has taken the audience by storm.

The teaser speaks about the biggest secret mission that shook the world, the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998.

Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran is an ode to the Indian army and scientists, who although ordinary people, accomplished truly extraordinary feats in the face of adversity. It salutes, celebrates and truly embraces the slogan- Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan. While the premise of the film is based on true events, the characters are fictitious.

The film also features Diana Penty and Boman Irani. The film is written by Saiwyn Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh and directed by Abhishek Sharma. It is slated to release 4th May this year.

Diana will be sporting a military look in the film. The actress said, "I thought that it was an important story to tell to the rest of the country. It's about how India became a nuclear power. It's a part of history. For that reason, I wanted to be a part of this film. When I read the script, I just loved it. It was a thrilling ride."

John had said about his movie, "There are so many films which have an entertainment purpose only and there are very few films which are important for our country. According to me, Parmanu is one such film which is very important in modern India."

In the teaser John's character says, "It is time for India to become a nuclear state. We won't remain silent anymore due to fear."
