Parineeti Chopra who made her singing debut in in Meri Pyaari Bindu is all set to record another single which will be composed by Amaal Mallik. The romantic drama Meri Pyaari Bindu also featured actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana opposite her but it was her debut song which garnered all the limelight. Now, she is once again going to lend her voice to a composition by Amaal Malik.
As reported by a source that had all the deets about the song informed that the actor and the composer met at Amaal’s studio on Thursday to work on the song. The source said, “During their first meeting, they also discussed the scale and composition of the track. They will record the final track once Parineeti returns from Australia and the video will be shot after she wraps up the shooting of Vipul Shah’s romcom, Namastey England,”

The single is titled ‘Mujhe Tum’ and will feature only female vocals. “It is not a recreated version of an old song and has a flavour similar to her debut song, “Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin”, but the notes are very different. The production is being supervised by Bhushan Kumar and the makers are currently scouting for a video director,” said the source.
Manoj Muntashir is the lyricist who has written the song. Parineeti’s debut song was well-received by the audience and her hatke voice found a lot of admirers. Taking a cue she is all set to render another beautiful composition in collaboration with Amaal Mallik which we are sure will also turn out to be a whopping number.
Parineeti Chopra is currently shooting opposite Arjun Kapoor for Namastey England which is helmed by Vipul Shah. This is her third film with Arjun Kapoor. She had previously worked with Arjun in 2012’s Ishaqzaade and will be seen in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
