Yesterday when Alia Bhatt during a song launch event of Raazi was asked to comment on the same, she said, “It’s a terrible thing that has happened. As a girl, a woman, an individual, a human being and as a part of this country, I feel very bad and hurt that this has happened.”
“There was a time when I was reading a lot about it. From the last two days, I have parted myself with this as this was making me more and more upset and angry. I really hope, in my heart, that justice is served. We all should go out and condemn it,” she added.
Farhan Akhtar too spoke up about the issue and said, "Imagine what goes through the mind of an 8 yr old as she is drugged, held captive, gang-raped for days and then murdered. If you don’t feel her terror, you are not human. If you don’t demand Asifa get justice, you belong to nothing."
Big B was present at the event along with his co-star Rishi Kapoor, Jimit Tridevi and the crew of the Umesh Shukla directorial, which is releasing on May 4.
