Karan Johar created history by becoming the first Indian filmmaker to enter the world renowned attraction Madame Tussauds. His wax statue will be unveiled at the museum soon and the filmmaker felt proud and honoured to make the prestigious list. Amidst, all the wishes that the director received one message stood apart from the others and that were from Karan’s BFF Twinkle Khanna.

On Thursday, Karan had tweeted out a photo of himself holding a briefcase in one hand and showing a wax handprint on the other. Twinkle, Karan’s long time best friend right from childhood, who is known for her witty remarks took to Twitter to congratulate the filmmaker. She wrote, “Congratulations - You are the first in so many ways or at least that's how I feel when I look at you ! Big hug (sic).” Mrs.Funnybones as she is called on the micro-blogging site must have been real proud of her friend’s achievement.

In the picture that Karan shared on Twitter, his book ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ can also be seen lying on the desk. Karan will join the list of such imminent personalities from Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and others who have already found a place at Madame Tussauds. Karan’s wax figure will not be unveiled in one city only but will simultaneously be showcased on tour across Asia. The procedures for the statue have already begun and the figure will be in place within 6 months.

However, we hope and wish that the resemblance of the statue holds true as some of the past wax statutes have been ridiculed by fans for bearing no resemblance to the personality whatsoever. We wonder whether the makers of the statue will get the trademark pout of KJo right or not.
