Mouni Roy is all set to take on the silver screen after wowing audience on the television screens. She is busy signing back-to-back Bollywood movies and will be making her debut with Gold opposite Akshay Kumar. The Naagin actress will also be sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in Brahmastra which is all set to release next year.
Since Mouni also shares a great equation with Salman Khan, thanks to the duo's repeated stint on Bigg Boss series, it was speculated that she is going to be a part of Dabangg 3. However, now reports have come in that this is not true as the actress who was present at the Mijwan Fashion Show dismissed such reports and set the facts right. “Let me clarify that I am not a part of Dabangg 3," stated the sultry actress.

Now that Mouni has refuted the rumours it is clear that she will not be a part of the Salman film franchise. However, a leading daily had reported that she has a special cameo in the film for about 15 to 20 minutes. A source told the daily, “Both the actresses have small roles in the flick. Mouni only has a special appearance, with screen time of just about 15-20 minutes."
Dabangg 3 is reported to be a prequel for the series and it was being said that Mouni will play the role of one of Chulbul Pandey’s love interest before Rajjo comes in. The source added, “She will play one of Chulbul’s previous romantic interests who appears in the flashback scenes, while Sonakshi will reprise her role as Rajjo."
Mouni is not only debuting in Bollywood but will also be making a foray into the digital world with Mehrunissa. The web series is a love story that revolves around Salim and Mehrunissa and is directed by Ken Ghosh. Mouni’s rumoured boyfriend Mohit Raina is also making his screen debut in Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari.
