Happy Monkeyversary: Bipasha-Karan marriage turns 2 and the honeymoon continues…

On April 30, 2016, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover tied the knot. It was her first plunge into matrimony; and his third. However, two years down the line, love and monkeying around – both continue to refer to each other as monkey - is very much still in the air where this smitten twosome is concerned.

Bips set the celebratory ball rolling as she shared, “30th April 2016 – Our Wedding Day❤ Feels like yesterday but it’s been two beautiful years already ❤” She gushed about how Karan has made her understand what true love is, as she wished her husband a Happy Monkeyversary.

Karan was mushier still, writing, “For the longest time I thought the day I met you was the best day of my life…but then we got married and that became the best day of my life. As time went by, every morning I woke up next to you (which is every morning) started becoming the best days of my life…I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’ve been struck with this realisation that waking up next to you is the most beautiful magical dream that I’ll never wake up from…which means that everyday day of my life is going to be my life’s best day for eternity and it’s all because of you.”

He also thanked his love for marrying him and showing him what it feels like to live a life filled with only best days.

The couple is enjoying their ‘monkeyversary’ by the beach in Goa, with large doses of yoga and meditation, combined with dips in the pool, spa sessions and cycling. The coastal state is a huge favourite of theirs and they even have plans to settle down there. “We are looking for property to build our dream home,” shared Bipasha.

Their Goan holiday will be followed by a party hosted for all their friends once they are back in the bay. Keep the monkey-love growing!
