Alia Bhatt is busy working on her movies Kalank and Brahmastra. The movie helmed by Ayan Mukerji features Alia opposite to none other than Ranbir Kapoor. Alia, who had admitted to crushing on the handsome Kapoor some years back, is rumoured to be dating the heartthrob.

Interestingly, amidst all the dating rumours, Alia revealed that she is very friendly with Ranbir's ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

Talking to a leading daily, Alia said about 'Kat', "I’ve known Katrina for a couple of years now. We’ve got to know each other organically. It all happened when Kat and I started spending time in the gym. Today, she’s someone who I can say is my friend. I know I can count on her when I’m in trouble and she can count on me, for sure. She’s got my back and I’ve got hers.”

Isn't that sweet? This reminds us of the statement Kat had made many years back when she was still dating the junior Kapoor. When asked about Alia's crush on Ranbir, Katrina had said, "Every girl between 15 to 35 has a crush on Ranbir."

Zooming back to the present, Alia said about the link-up rumours with Ranbir, "I strongly believe that ‘silence is golden.’ Even actors have their own personal lives – it’s called ‘personal’ for a reason. I have one too.”

Alia also spoke about the vivacious Priyanka Chopra and her relationship with the Quantico actress. She said, "I make it a point to hang out with PeeCee whenever she’s in town because she’s someone who inspires me. She’s warm and welcoming. She’s been that way since the first day of my entry in the industry. I get along with people who’re passionate, focused and have this ‘let’s kill it attitude’. There’s no insecurity between us.”
