Anupam Kher plays the doting uncle, shares adorable video of bride-to-be Sonam Kapoor

The preparations for Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja wedding is in full swing. The Kapoor and Ahuja families announced in a formal statement that the wedding will take place on May 8, 2018, while the pre-wedding rituals will occur on May 7, 2018. Anil Kapoor’s residence has been swarmed with guests, extended family members and close friends. Yesterday, Arjun Kapoor along with his sister Anshula Kapoor and aunt Maheep Kapoor was captured in a video that went viral on social media where he was probably keeping an eye on the preparations and heaping praise on Sonam for looking pretty in her bridal couture.

Now, a new video has been put up by Anil’s long time friend and colleague Anupam Kher of Sonam where she is seen sitting next to a gift which has a ‘Bride-to-Be’ ribbon on it. The video is truly adorable as when the camera pans on Sonam she cheekily shows her tongue and is busy on her phone. She is dressed in simple black top and black pants. Anupam congratulates her on her big day in advance for the nuptials. He captioned the video as, “Bride to be. My dearest darling @sonamkapoor. Choti si bacchi dekhte dekhte badi ho gayi.”

Anil and Anupam have starred in many films together and their film association has manifested into a close family bond. They have graced many events together and more often than not are seen in each other’s company at any event or function. Anil also appeared on Anupam's talk show The Anupam Kher Show.
