For that effortlessly regal look at weddings, there’s apparently no looking further than the famed Raghavendra Rathore. Which is why we are not surprised at the buzz doing the rounds that it will be Rathore who is dressing dapper groom Anand Ahuja on his big day. What’s more, the Jodhpur-based designer, who also happens to be the fave of the Kapoor men, will reportedly also be dressing Anil Kapoor and son Harshvardhan for the SoNand wedding.

In fact, we still recall Anil Kapoor closing the show for Raghavendra Rathore on Day 1 of Van Heusen + GQ Fashion Nights. He had looked dapper in a black kurta teamed with a white churidar and an embroidered short jacket. The designer had shown an exclusively curated collection that paid tribute to the effortless amalgamation of tailored looks.

The family’s stylistas, Sonam and Rhea have probably greenlighted the designer themselves. As Anil had revealed, it is his fashion-forward daughter Sonam who keeps tabs on his wardrobe as he does not take fashion trends seriously. He had shared, “My daughter always suggests fashion trends to me. She keeps a check on what I wear and often disapproves if she does not like it. Raghavendra is a family friend and, for this outfit, my daughters also discussed the attire with him.”

We can’t wait to see how Rathore clothes the good-looking Anand and his famous in-laws on the big day. When it comes to classic Indian dressing, Rathore is, after all, the go-to name for Bollywood stars, cricketers and businessmen. Rathore had dressed the Nawab of Pataudi, Saif for his wedding, as well cricket czar Virat Kohli for his special day. He’s the man who even created miniature ethnic wear for li’l Taimur!

The gorgeous bride-to-be has plumped for her fave designers Anamika Khanna, Anuradha Vakil, and Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. While she is bound to look sensational, her menfolk will be matching up with royal flair. Let the celebrations begin!
