Here’s when Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will go for their honeymoon

Sonam Kapoor who has been in a steady relationship with her long-term beau Anand Ahuja is all set to tie the knot on May 8, 2018. The preparations for the D-day and celebrations are in full swing and Sonam’s siblings Rhea Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor and cousins - Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anshula Kapoor are leaving no stone unturned in making it the most happening wedding of the year. Anand along with his family has arrived for the wedding and his extended family is scheduled to reach Mumbai from the US and London over the weekend.

Sonam’s friends from the industry like Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandez are all gearing up to perform during the sangeet ceremony of the actress and their last night videos are the proof!

However, Sonam and Anand will not be able to head for their honeymoon right after taking the marriage vows as Sonam is scheduled to walk the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival again this year on May 14, 2018, right after her nuptials. The Cannes Film Festival opens on the same day as her wedding, but she won’t be accompanied by Anand. A source informed, “Anand won’t be at Cannes with her but the couple is planning an October-November honeymoon which will be delayed because of the bride-to-be’s choc-o-block schedule.”

After coming back from Cannes, Sonam will resume shooting for her upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which also stars her father Anil Kapoor and is being directed by Shelly Dhar. She also would be promoting her film Veere Di Wedding which also stars Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Sonam has also signed the film adaptation of the cricket-based novel The Zoya Factor opposite Dulquer Salman which has a start-to-finish shooting schedule starting in August.

With such a hectic and around-the-clock schedule Sonam and Anand have postponed their honeymoon plans and will be taking a vacation only in October-November this year whose destination is not known yet.
