Look who we spotted at Sonam Kapoor's Mehendi ceremony - Rhea's BF Karan Boolani

Actress Sonam Kapoor's wedding revelry has officially begun! The first pre-wedding ceremony, a private mehendi function took place at Anil Kapoor's Juhu residence. The frolic festivity saw the attendance of close friends and family members flocking to the venue, dressed in glamorous traditional attires. Amongst all the photographs and video snippets going viral on the internet, a specific guest caught our attention - Rhea Kapoor's alleged boyfriend Karan Boolani.

Sonam's sibling Rhea Kapoor was dressed in a subtle cream ensemble while Karan was wearing a pink kurta.

To jog your memory a little, Karan and Rhea were photographed outside a restaurant in Mumbai after a supposed dinner date, while rumours of her sister's wedding continues to pick up steam. If reports are to be believed, Karan and Rhea are very much together, and although it's all about Sonam at the moment, marriage is said to be on cards for these lovebirds too.

Karan is a budding filmmaker and has reportedly been in a steady relationship with Rhea since Aisha days. He has assisted Karan Johar on Ranbir Kapoor-starrer film Wake Up Sid. Boolani has directed a short film The Audition, and also has a number of ads under his belt.

Karan is good friends with Rhea's cousin Arjun Kapoor and has directed him in an ad for a shoe brand as well. The filmmaker is often seen hanging out with sisters Rhea, Sonam and the latter's groom-to-be Anand Ahuja. He is a regular at the Kapoor parties too!

Meanwhile, Sonam and Anand will get married on Tuesday in a traditional Sikh ceremony. However, a formal ‘mehendi’ and ‘sangeet’ function will take place on Monday evening. The Kapoors shall host their guests to an ‘evening of dance and music’ to celebrate Sonam and Anand on the evening of May 8, 2018.
