Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is back today with yet another poster from the film Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor. This one from the year 2013, when Sanjay Dutt’s black Pathani look had become a signature. In 2013, Sanjay was preparing for his iconic role of Kancha Cheena in Agneepath. This was also the year when Sanjay was supposed to go back to the jail to serve his jail term of five years. Sharing the picture, Raju Hirani said, “When I meet Ranbir these days I can’t believe that he looked like this a year back when we shot this.”

Well, it is hard to believe for everyone that someone could look so similar to someone else. These posters have been creating curiosity and anticipation amongst the fans of both Ranbir and Sanjay. The teaser that released before the poster series gave us a slight hint at what the movie could possibly be and all we can expect is a lot of inside stories and a roller coaster ride that Sanjay’s life has been so far, everything perfectly portrayed by Ranbir and brought together by the fantastic director.

Sanju is definitely one of the most anticipated films of this year. The amazing transformation that Ranbir has been through to bring out each of Sanjay’s look perfectly is truly commendable and another reason why this film is surely on our to-watch list. This Sanjay Dutt biopic, written and directed by Raju Hirani also features Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza and Sonam Kapoor. It is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s VVC films and Fox Star Studios and is set to release on June 29, 2018.
