Last year, Sonam Kapoor closed the Ralph & Russo Autumn Winter 2017/2018 couture show in Paris. This year the international designer duo is headed to India for her wedding!

Amidst all the excitement of Sonam di Wedding, comes news that the renowned fashion designers, Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo will also be in attendance. Buzz has it they Sonam will be even be wearing an out of this world Ralph & Russo creation for her wedding reception tomorrow evening at the Leela.

Sonam shares a deep fondness for the brand. In fact, she was the first Indian celebrity to sport a Ralph and Russo creation at the Cannes Festival 2015. In an interview, she had talked about her friendship with Tamara Ralph from the couture house. “Tamara is a very dear friend of mine. And I always like wearing new designers and I am one of the few artists in India to explore international brands…Having worn Ralph and Russo for so long, I have a developed great relationship with them.”

Sonam was accompanied by the co-founders, Tamara Ralph & Michael Russo, at the amfAR gala at the recent Festival de Cannes 2016. Later that year, she also graced the front row at the luxe label’s couture show in Paris.

Tamara Ralph has even shared an Instagram post wittily informing the world that she will be attending Sonam’s wedding. She posted a picture that reads, “Going on a trip, need about four outfits, I’ve packed 35 to be safe.” Yes, we can well understand why fashionista Sonam and designer Tamara hit it off so beautifully!
