Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with her long-term beau Anand Ahuja today and became Sonam Kapoor-Ahuja. The actress looked like a million bucks in her red and gold lehenga bedecked with heavy jewelry.
A few videos have surfaced of the Varmala and Mangalsutra ceremony where the actress seems excited and as sweet, bursting with happiness, as any bride can be. She is seen leaping to put the varmala around Anand’s neck and when her kaleerein and the garland gets entangled with his sherwani she lovingly says, “Babu I’m sorry.”

However, her mother Sunita Kapoor rebukes her and can be heard in the video saying, “Babu nahi, aap kaise ho, aap bolo.” Sonam is beyond excited as she goes to put the garland first and later when she is giving directions to Anand, once again her mother scolds her and tells her, “stop giving directions to Anand.” Mothers, I tell you.
