It is a well-known fact that Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are not exactly the best of friends, all thanks to their ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Deepika is in a steady relationship with Ranveer Singh now and Katrina has gone her separate way after breaking up with Ranbir. Although, neither of the actress are currently in Ranbir’s life that has not helped the matters at all. When Ranbir and Deepika had promoted their last film Tamasha together, the Barfi actor was still in a relationship with Katrina and she was quoted as saying, “I can’t enforce my will on the people in my life. Their choices are their own. I may not be happy with them but I hope that as they mature or as they evolve, their choices will change.”

Alia Bhatt who is pairing up with Ranbir in their forthcoming film Brahmastra, is great friends with Katrina and had recently said that she has made a pact with Kat and Deepika to do a film with them. Reportedly, if rumours are to be believed then she is dating Ranbir currently and even made an appearance last night at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding reception with Ranbir.

However, when Katrina was asked about the said pact she said, “I think it (teaming up with Alia) would be amazing. Not many know but I have been telling Adi (Aditya Chopra; film-maker) for the longest time that someone should make a great, big-budget and a lavishly mounted film starring two girls with strong characters. I really hope he does something like that and I would love to do such a movie with Alia. I have a strong feeling that it would do amazingly well (at the box office).” But when she was prodded further about starring in a film with Deepika she said, “As far as I am concerned, there is no pact or anything like that with Deepika in terms of working together.”

Meanwhile Deepika walked the red carpet at Met Gala 2018 and made heads turn with her thigh high slit red gown. She will also be attending the Cannes Film Festival.
