Reports of Race 3 being postponed due to distribution issues came as a nasty shock to the trade and fans alike. What’s Eid without packed theatres cheering on a Bhai blockbuster? It was claimed that producer Ramesh Taurani had been unable to find a distributor who could match the lofty Rs.150 crore theatrical rights asking price of Race 3. With the multi-starrer helmed by Salman apparently not being able to find takers, it was surmised that the film would be unable to keep its date with the box office on June 15.
However, now dispersing the cloud of gloom caused by that revelation, director Remo D’Souza steps in to assure us all that all is well. Claiming that he has zero idea about the rumours of Race 3 being postponed, he confirms that they are absolutely on track. He goes to the extent of calling the reports “rubbish” adding that he doesn’t know who is spreading this “false news”.

He also adds that regarding the distribution part of the film, it would be best to clarify with Ramesh Taurani, who unfortunately was unavailable for comment.
Meanwhile, Salman has revealed a new poster of the film, which features him in the centre, sporting a black leather jacket and dark shades, surrounded by the film’s key cast. From Jacqueline Fernandez to Bobby Deol, they all sport guns and give the camera their deadliest looks. Bhai shared the poster with the confession that they were not ready with the trailer and that’s why they made the poster instead! In his inimitable style he also pointed out that the gifts of patience are sweet; as will be the Race 3 trailer which arrives on May 15.
“I promise you the wait will be worth it,” he assures and we are going to be holding him to that promise!
