When Kangana Ranaut spoke about nepotism in Bollywood she did kick a hornet’s nest. In Bollywood we often see children of actors and actresses making their debut and now even siblings have started pouring in. The newest to join the brigade is Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur. Although the newbie rose to fame because of her music videos that went viral she is keener to become an actress than a playback singer. A source close to her said, “Nupur is passionate about acting. Singing is just a hobby. If she gets to sing as well, that will be a bonus.”

Nupur is trying her best to get into the acting groove and has signed up for several acting workshops with Mukesh Chhabra, Prashant Singh and Abhishek Pandey. She is also taking an acting course at Adishakti in Pondicherry and is working on her body. A source said about her preparations, “She is working hard like any outsider would and wants to be prepared before she bags a project. She trains regularly at the gym and is trying to remain as fit as possible. Along with gymming, she has regular dance classes, too.” Nupur’s songs have become a huge hit on YouTube and most of her videos have become viral. However, she maintains that acting is what she wants to pursue as a career whereas singing is just a hobby.

Apart from Nupur, there are many younger siblings who are trying to make a debut. Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle is gearing up for her Bollywood film opposite Sooraj Pancholi. Salman Khan was supposed to do a dance number for her film but eventually backed out of the commitment. Yami Gautam’s sister Surilie Jasraj Singh (who is already an established actress in Punjabi films) will also be making her debut in a Rajkumar Santoshi’s film based on Battle of Saragarhi opposite Randeep Hooda.
