PewDiePie, who had topped Forbes’ list of highest-paid YouTube stars in 2016, has discovered Ekta Kapoor’s brand of serials and he will never be the same again! The popular Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie has been chuckling over the video “You India you lose” wherein he trolls some of the scenes witnessed on Indian television and in films.
In particular, he chuckles over the Balaji honcho’s 2006 serial ‘Kasamh Se’. PewDiePie, who is known for his Let's Play commentaries and vlogs, as well as for having the most subscribed channel on YouTube, was in splits over the serial’s title track and trademark dramatic cuts. His critique is hilarious but obviously, Ms Kapoor doesn’t think so!
Ekta has struck out at the gent, getting rather personal as she compares him to the ‘firang’ junior artistes who are hired for their shows. Asking him who exactly he was, she opined that he looked like the foreign junior artistes hired from Colaba when they created Paris in Aarey. She also pointed out that he would find his doppelganger on the serial ‘Kasamh Se’ itself.
Clearly, PewDiePie’s scorn had cut too deep and Ekta launched into a series of tweets, adding that he seemed obsessed and she would send him more videos, and another in which she ruled out apologizing to “peudy something”. She rationalized her rant by telling users to watch his video in which he trashes everything from Indian soaps to Indian superstars like Rajinikanth.

Fans of the Thalaivar aka Rajinikanth were a tad taken aback when PewDie also poked fun at Bollywood action scenes and chose to spotlight an action scene from Tamil sci-fi adventure Enthiran – the Robot. PewDie is heard saying, “How is this a movie? Did they make this in Gmod? What is happening?”
Stick around, dude, you’ve got a lot to learn.
