Director Shonali Bose'sdebut vehicle Margarita with a Straw starring Kalki Koechlin landed the actress a Special Jury - National Film Award. Next project up her sleeves is real-life story about of Aisha Chaudhary, a motivational speaker since the age of 15 diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. A leading tabloid reports Bose's movie shall possibly mark the onscreen reunion of Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan.
Priyanka and Abhishek featured together in Bluffmaster, Dostana and Drona, and each time, Abhi and PeeCee have only left us wanting for more of their sizzling screen spell. While an official confirmation is still pending, buzz is that Zaira Wasim, star of Dangal and Secret Superstar, shall play their reel life daughter. As per a report published in a leading tabloid, Zaira has been roped in to essay the young protagonist in the film. A source told the tabloid -
“Zaira really liked the script and has given her nod to the project. Shonali is currently busy with the pre-production and is hoping to start shooting by the middle of this year in Mumbai. Priyanka and Abhishek will play parents to Zaira’s character.”
Looks like the search has ended with Zaira! A source was quoted as saying by the tabloid earlier, 'Shonali met with Abhishek recently on the sets of Manmarziyan and shared the idea with him. He liked it and she will be giving him the final narration soon. If he comes on board, Priyanka and he will play parents to the young protagonist casting for which is currently underway. Meanwhile, Shonali is working on the script and hopes to start shooting by the year-end.'

Priyanka and Abhishek have shared screen space and a great camaraderie in Drona, Dostana and Bluffmaster already have the Bollywood buffs buzzing about their reunion.
Meanwhile, Priyanka has been roped in opposite Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. The film is slated to release on Eid in 2019. Abhishek Bachchan, on the other hand, will be seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan opposite Taapsee Pannu which will hit the theatres on September 7, 2018.
For the uninitiated, Aisha who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13 hasn’t let her illness determine her fate. Rather the young prodigy has gone on to release a book titled My Little Epiphanies. Unfortunately, she breathed her last at the age of 18 on January 24, 2015.
