Soon, trouble surrounded their two new projects Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Fanne Khan and the filming was stalled for the time being Now, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has stepped in and taken over the unreleased projects.

Earlier today, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series shared an official statement regarding the same. Read them here:
KRIARJ: We at KriArj Entertainment are happy to have two successful releases this year with PadMan (February 2018) & Pari (March 2018) after the very successful Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
Bringing socially relevant and meaningful cinema to entertain audiences has always been our endeavour. With us being a relatively young production house both in terms of average age of the team as well as a number of the years in the business, we have been very fortunate to have already made the kind of films that we have.
At the same time, we do think that this would be the right time to re-evaluate our strategy and set new goals for the future. With renewed zeal and positivity we want to better ourselves and strive harder to raise the bar to come with a fresh slate of films from June 2018.
T-SERIES: To refute the rumours doing the rounds about the issues faced by producers of Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Fanne Khan, Bhushan Kumar has taken over as the sole producer to make both the films and meet the shooting schedule. Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam starrer BGMC is directed by Shree Narayan Singh along with Nitin Chandrachud. The team has already started their final leg of shoot in Mumbai followed by a few days shoot in Uttarakhand. Similarly, Bhushan Kumar and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra produced Fanne Khan has a song shoot pending. This Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer is all set to release on 13th July.
Bhushan Kumar speaks, “I will now solely produce both Batti Gul Meter Chalu (along with Shree Narayan Singh and Nitin Chandrachud) and Fanne Khan (also produced jointly by Rakesh ji). We want to ensure both the films are shot as per the locked schedule. Both our directors Shree Narayan Singh (BGMC) and Atul Manjrekar (Fanne Khan) are set to take the project to its completion level. BGMC starts shoot tomorrow while Fanne Khan we just have two songs shoot left.”
The shoot for Shahid's BGMC has already begun and actor has not shied away from expressing his excitement. It finally feels like a new day for the stars and their films.
