Having introduced the likes of Zareen Khan, Daisy Shah, Sneha Ullal, Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha and breathed life into the careers of Jacqueline Fernandez, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty - Salman Khan is the official Godfather of Bollywood. And thus, it was only natural that when his darling sister Arpita Khan Sharma's husband Aayush Sharma wanted to take up acting, Bhaijaan went a notch above and announced a film under his home banner Salman Khan Films to launch Aayush.
While troubles seem to precede Salman in every room he enters, looks like it has begun to resonate in his professional space too. Aayush's debut vehicle, called Loveratri, has run into trouble with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) over distortion of the name of a Hindu festival 'Navratri' in the title.

“We will not allow its exhibition in cinema halls in the country. We don’t want the sentiments of Hindus to be hurt,” VHP’s international working president Alok Kumar told a leading news agency. “The film is set against the backdrop of Navratri, a Hindu festival, and the name distorts its meaning,” he further added.

Navratri is a festival marked with worshipping Goddess Durga and her nine avatars, for nine nights. The festival is celebrated with great pomp and show, especially in the state of Gujarat. Loveratri is based against the backdrop of this same festival. The romantic drama will unfold the love story of the leading couple during Navratri.
