Hera Pheri 3: Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal-starrer to release in 2019

We at PeepingMoon.com had exclusively informed you that third installment in the one of most successful comedy franchises of Bollywood - Hera Pheri is in the works. The film, tentatively titled Hera Pheri 3, shall return with the comically hilarious cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal who shall reprise their iconic characters of Raju, Ghanshyam and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte along with others.

And now, as per a report published in leading tabloid, the movie shall arrive in cinemas in the second half of 2019. “The project was locked last month after the three actors gave their dates. It will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule between December 2018 and February 2019 and will release in the second half of next year,” a source was quoted as saying by the tabloid.

Hera Pheri was the creative child of multi-faceted talent Neeraj Vora, an actor, writer and director known for his humorous and happy streak on and off the screen. In 2000, the filmmaker churned out who find themselves trapped in crazy shenanigans including hilarious bits from Rawal himself, under the direction of Priyadarshan.

Following its ginormous success, Vora spawned a sequel in 2006 Phir Hera Pheri only to leave us wanting for more! He had begun the pre-production work on the sequel in early 2016, after locking the story, screenplay and dialogue, reports the tabloid. However, Neeraj, who was to direct the third installment, passed away last year in December months after being comatose.

The film will be produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. As per our sources, besides Akshay, Suniel and Paresh other members from the first installment could possibly make it to the cut. Thus, it won’t be much of a surprise if we see Tabu, Gulshan Grover and others featuring in the sequel.
