Three die-hard fans of the late actor Sridevi managed to do something so majestic that they floored her husband Boney Kapoor and actor-daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Pune-based Paridhi Bhati, 26, Bhavana Varma, 33 and Tonu Sojatia, 29, have designed a Honda city car as a ‘moving tribute’ to their cinema idol Sridevi, who passed away in February. The trio was invited for tea by Boney and her daughters to express their gratitude towards their masterpiece.

Tonu Sojatia said, “I designed the multi-hued vinyl-prints, which are long-lasting, and we three took up almost a month to properly make-up the car as a gesture of love, for the greatest of actresses, Sridevi, adored by millions even today.” Sojatia, who works as social media PR with the National Film Archives of India (NFAI), designed a special logo with her friends that incorporate an image of Sridevi -'Flying BhaToPa' which was loved by the Kapoor family.

The ‘Flying BhaToPa’ had participated in the Times Women’s Drive as well which is an all-women safari in which female drivers from all over India drove to Goa on April 29, 2018. The car was driven by the three for a distance of 1,250 km on Pune-Goa-Pune route over three days of the all-women safari. The ‘Flying BhatoPa’ became the showstopper at the safari as it had a colourful tribute to Sridevi pasted on its exteriors. “The Sridevi theme shows various moods of Sridevi - love, anger, innocence and dance - with corresponding images from some of her most well-known films in Hindi and south Indian languages, including ‘Lamhe’, ‘Chandni’” said Sojatia.

Boney, on learning about the car that showcases Sridevi’s entire film journey from the tender age of 3 to her last film Mom called the three girls for a tete-a-tete over tea and coffee. He also revealed the fact that Sridevi was a very good artist and there are two majestic paintings by her adorning the Kapoors’ living room.
