Bollywood actress Kajol is the latest celebrity to join the bandwagon of stars that are getting their wax statues at Madame Tussauds in Singapore. Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan already have their statues at the prestigious wax museum since quite some time now. Now, Kajol has joined the ranks too, a status that might be coming a little too late knowing the exemplary actress and acclaimed body of work that she has in her kitty.

A delighted Kajol took to Instagram to share her excitement. She posted a picture where she is taking a selfie with her wax statue and captioned it as, “Always been a Kajol fan.” The actress unveiled the statue at Singapore today; she was accompanied to the event by her daughter Nysa.

Kajol who is known for her blunt and straight forward attitude did not mince any words in appreciating herself and cheekily shared the picture of her wax statue with the funny and hilarious caption. Kajol’s wax statue bears a striking resemblance to her and is the most life-like than all the other actors’ and actresses’ combined. She was captured striking a pose with her statue and seemed highly elated at the prestige bestowed upon her.

Earlier in the day she had shared a picture wither daughter Nysa who is studying in Singapore and wrote, “My little girl with me on a red carpet for the first time.” 15-year-old Nysa is the elder child of Kajol and actor-husband Ajay Devgn. They have a son younger than Nysa who is called Yug. Ajay also introduced his wife's wax statue albeit in a hilarious way.

Kajol will be next seen in Pradeep Sarkar’s Eela which is slated to release on September 14, 2018. On the other hand, husband Ajay will be seen in Total Dhamaal, Sons of Sardaar and a film with Tabu which is in the works.
