Sanju is one of the most awaited films of 2018 and this is good news indeed for the many fans of this soon to release biopic. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor portraying the real life role of Sanjay Dutt and multiple posters of the film have already whipped up considerable interest. The biopic of the controversial life of actor Sanjay Dutt will apparently cover his film career, jail sentence and personal life. Hirani had recently revealed that after several meetings with Sanjay, he decided that he was going to string the pieces of his life together — the death of his mother, rehab stint and his conviction in the 1993 bomb blasts case — and make a feature film. He maintained that he told Sanjay that he wouldn't glorify him in the film and the actor was okay with it.

Sanju continues to hit headlines. Yesterday Aamir Khan revealed that he had been offered the role of Sunil Dutt, and while it was a wonderful role he simply couldn’t accept it as the role of Sanjay Dutt was so much more amazing.

Recently, Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor had allegedly been moved to tears watching the trailer of the film and a few scenes. As word of mouth praise continues to heap up, expectations are only growing more colossal by the day!
